Warm spring evenings

It's so nice when you can go for a walk at 9pm and it's still bright and quite warm outside. It rained yesterday but today the sun is back and will stay so this weekend. Emma is visiting me tomorrow which will be great. Can't wait to show her around Norrköping!

The Office!

So good...

I woke at up 6 am, went for a run at 7 and had an home exam at 9. Then i've been in school until 6pm, got home to continue with one of our assignemnts and made dinner. Now it's time for candy and The Office which i am, by the way, totally hooked on for the moment. I think I watch about 3-4 episodes a day. I think it's brilliant (except the first season) and really worth getting in to.

I walked home from school without a jacket today! Also the leaves on the trees are starting to show. Suddenly everything seems much easier. I miss Chris though...

We do drink alot of coffee

We got an assignement today showing some statistic we illustrate ourselfs. I did mine really quick as it's not an especially important assignement which we wont get a grade on. So i choosed to show how much coffee a kilo a normal citizen of a country drink.

There's no place like the westcoast

My and my dad went for a walk yesterday on Rossö, an island outside Strömstad. Maybe everyone is the same but i do think Strömstad is one of the most besutiful places i know. April and May is probably the best months to be there too as your almost alone on all the little cliffs which will be packed with tourists in June, July and August. 4 more weeks in school then back to Strömstad or straight up to Chris depending on work, money and duties.

So I had some stuff i needed to be done this week and i did it all yesterday. It's so weird how slow pase this program have. We had 2 weeks off for Easter and now there's only 4 weeks left before summer break. You would think we would be busy now but nope! I'm 100% sure it will be alot harder and a much higher pase next year...

It's crazy how many people who gets effected by the volcano eruption on island. Fanny was planing to celebrate her mum's 50th birthday in Paris, my dad was gonna fly back from Norway, many people were planning hollidays....i booked a cheap flight back from Strömstad but dicided yesterday i wouldn't take the chance of going home just incase i have to take a 116 dollars train back. Then this morning i decided to go home anyway. So now i'm going. Come on Eyjafjallajökull don't make me regret it...

A couple of girls in my class arranged a Mexican theme party yesterday. I was a pretty hard theme to dress up for so i decided to just bring some coronas to drink. Uh i do not like Coronas. Anyway it was a fun night and really good cakes!

One of the assignements this week was to make ourselfs beautiful in photoshop. This is how pretty i couls look without wrinkles and flaws... Honestly i look abit plastic...

Strömstad last April

Just booked tickets to go home to Strömstad next week. I have 4 days free and nothing really to do in Norrköping. I hope the nice weather will continue so i can sit in the garden drinking coffee...

And then the spring came!

Spring is here and i'm sooo happy! I love that we can just walk around in sneakers, light jackets and sunglasses without being cold. Maybe spring is my favourite season...

Good and bad things

A good thing - i've finally decided on my major and what i'll be studying next year. The papers have been send in.
A bad thing - Chris left today and i wont see him for quite a while. It sucks to have a long-distance-relationship.
Another good thing - it's been a gorgeous Sunday and i've been running, sunbathing, studying and having coffee with Fanny.
An okey thing - My spring break is over and it's back to school tomorrow. Only for 6 more weeks though.
One last thing - We had a great night at a new opened pub yesterday. Me, Chris and 6 other girls. I love that my boyfriend join me for occasions like that.

The lovely bones

Just got home watching the movie The lovely bones by Peter Jackson. I think the movie was a 3/5 - some parts were really great and some not so much. The beautiful landscape of New Zealand was one of the best parts as always in Peter Jackson's movies...

Chris' house a week ago - alot less snow now

I have about 3 h to clean the whole place until we're gonna leave today. I'm done with the kitchen and the bathroom but has stil alot left. Oh and i need to pack to. Better get started...

Apartement - check!

Chris favourites

We went looking for a couple of apartements in Lycksele yesterday. None of the first 3 ones were perfect. They were too old or too dark or too small. But the 4th one we looked at were just perfect. Central, 72 sqaure metres with big bright rooms and a nice kitchen and bathroom. So i called on it today and from the 1st of Jne it's ours (or really Chris' but i will live there during the summer). So i baked some chocolate balls as Chris brought all my brownies to work. Sometimes i can get crazy with Chris - i take him the a supercute little café with the most gorgeus pastries and he still just orders chocolate balls...So much for the variation.

Congrats Brother!

Marc's is 19 today! The last year one of us is a teenager. He is celebrating it by snowboarding in Hemsedal with his friends. Marc graduates high school this june and could start studying next autumn - which is the same autumn both me and Philip will start. Crazy that all 3 of us could start at the same time. Marc will prbably do as we did - working and travelling - but you never know...

Brownies

I had an interview today at the Lappland hotell and guess what - i got it! I will work in the restaurant and in the reception which is really good as i haven't got any experience there. It's a really nice hotel, probably the biggest one in the north half part of Sweden. They have a big spa departement and a gym which i can go to whenever i want!

Chris has been showing me the mine today and i must say i'm pretty impressive by the work he does. He is basicly looking for the next place his company will drill for gold (and make a new mine). They probably only have about 1 year left of gold on this mine so alot of people depends on if he finds it or not. I really liked his office and the building where he's working. It's to bad it's so far away otherwise this would have been such a perfect job!
We also went walking with snow shoes today which is the first time for me. It was cool and not as tireing as i expected. Norrland is growing on me...

Hemavan

Me and Chris took 2 days skiing in Hemavan, a skiresort a couple of hours west of Pauträsk. The conditions the first day wasn't great but the sun was partly shining and we had fun. Today it was abit slushy but still nice. There was alot of people there though as it's the Easter weekend.
The battery for my camera died so i couldn't take a photo of our amazing easter buffee friday night. Salmon, egg, herring, baked bread, cheese...

Bad consumtion

Swedish people eat the biggest amount of candy á capita in the world! 17 kilo a person/year which is twice as much as any other European country. Easter is probably the weekend we eat the most candy during the year.
Some people wants us to pay a special candy-tax in order to decrease our consumtion. Even though i'm a big consumer of candy i think it's a good idea. Especially as i red an artical about all the stuff they put in it. Pigs rinds, lice and other discussion things. Apparently is just in the gummi candy and not in the chocolate. Thank God!
