Outside our window

It sure is a big different coming from Uppsala to Lycksele. I stil wear my summer clothes down south while it's way to cold to do it up here. The color of the leaves has already changed and it really feels like autumn.

Essay

tons of books, a computer and coffee!

It's alot of school work for the moment. We're in school from 8am to 8pm writing on our essays. I write abot hepatitis C (we can't choose) and the drugs you'll take against it. I think i'm finally done! Just have a 9h trip to Lycksele later today...

Not again!!!

My new bike got stolen this morning...or probably in the night. Someone had cut the locker off. Second time this year. I had to walk for 45 min to school and came to late. Not a great way to start the week. Well i believe in karma and the person who stole it will have a bad life!

Best night ever!

Best night ever! In front of 150 people the 5 of us went up and sang a song. We wrote it the night before and it kicked ass! Such a great night.

Friday night

After having classes from 8am to noon, studying in school from 1pm to 6pm we all were pretty exhausted. Especially as we went out the night before. We went home to Naida and a delicios chicken dish and then a bounch of candy. The last party is tomorrow and we decided to make a song for the older student. We're planing to sing it in front of 200 students tomorrow...yajkz...
Well it's Saturday morning and i need to study now, the whole freakin day and tomorrow...

I'm so tirerd! The older students organize all this activities in the evenings so we get to know Uppsala, the school and eachother better. It's alot of fun but we still have alot of classes, home work and repports to write. So i sleep about 6h a night. Well the last party is on Saturday so i can sleep after that...

Lycksele next weekend ♥

Just booked tickets to visit Chris next weekend. I have Friday and half Thursday off. It takes about 9h each way so it wuldn't make sense to go just over the weekend. I can't wait!

The room

This is what my rrom will looks like for the next month. I just found out that i'll get a student apartement from the middle of october. It's small but i have my own toilette and "kitchen" and it cost about 150 USD less then this place. Also it's closer to school. I'm abit sad though because i really like this room, the apartment and the girl i live with. But it'll be nice to have my own place.

Visit from Strömstad

My parents have been visiting Uppsala today. Or really they've been transporting my bed, desk and tons of other things to my room here. I will post photos of the result tomorrow. We had some time over to walk around the city in the crispy, sunny weather. I tried "surströming" for the first time ever! It's a traditional Swedish dish containing rutten fish which smells extremely terrible. It tasted pretty good actually. They brought fresh shrimp from the west coeat and spoiled me with some cheeses and nice hard bread. They will leave early tomorrow so i can study the rest of the day - there is already tons of things to get done!

More fun

Another great evening with the 2nd and 3rd graders, singing, eating and making new friends!
I'm sooo tired right now though. Think i've slept an average of 6h a night this week. Mum and dad will be here tomorrow morning so i better get to bed now...

Physiology

Just got home after 4 hours of physiology classes. It was very interesting and i'm so happy that i feel that way. Compared to last year i really feel that i learn important and useful stuff which i want to learn not only for an exam. I need to study extra on this though as my memory from high school isn't as updated as the 19 year old's. I'm pretty tired from yesterday so i thought i needed som candy and coffee to keep my energy up for some hours of styding!

All the new students got divided into different groups with a TV-theme for each group. I was in the "bollibomba" group which ment that i had to dress up like something on a children television show. The other girls were in groups like farmers, survivors and idol - much easier to dress up for!
Anyway we took this pretty serious and bought some outfites at a second hand store. When we got to the party we found at that not everyone had taken it that seriuos. Well, their lost! It was such a fun evening and Anastasia join us on the dance floor! I do think i was home around 11 pm. Good, because we have classes after noon today. Al the teachers and older students have toled us to really participate in all the activities now; we will truly regret it otherwise.

Busy week!

Just been to classes and are now up to shopping clothes and custumes for the activities tonight. It sure is a busy week! But also a very fun one =)

Books and games!

School officialy started today. We had the first real classes and got some litterature. The two books are the biggest ones i've ever owned! The biggest is about 3400 pages. It's really heavy carrying around these big rocks! It was amazing we got them for free though. It's not very common but i guess the pharmacy program is richer then most.
After school we had some games and stuff to do. It's very seriuos and i will be extremely bizzy these couple of weeks going to school and then participate in all the crazy stuff in the evenings. I won a competition today though over 150 poeple! We had two balloon tied around each foot and the goal was to step on the others. It was so tireing! I was so exhausted after!
