Carla

Me, Philip and Marc went to Smögen today. We had coffee with Carla, my grand mothers sister, who lives in the same house as my grand mother did until she died 2 years ago. Carla have never been married or have had any kids. She's been travelling alot though. Philip thinks she inspired our dad, who inspired us to travell...i don't think so...But it's a thought.

Just bought tickets to London next weekend! Chris is going to take a course for his job in the northern part of the country and have decided to spend the weekend before visiting Sharminy in London. So i decided to do so aswell! First time in a year i'll be abroad!

Weekend

Germany won the eurovision song contest and i couldn't approve more! It was a great song. I had to watch a repeat of yesterdays final as i worked the whole day. We served 150 Norweigen men which were all pretty drunk by the time they left the restaurant. My co-workers were great though and i had a fun time. We went out afterwards which was nice aswell. Just got 4h of sleep though because i had to guide Chris by phone with the unpacking for the appartement early in the morning (he got it today!). The only thing else i'm going to do now is having a coffee with Moa and maybe go for a run in the evening...

Oh brothers

It's so nice to spend time with my brothers now before i head up to Lycksele. Philip got home about a week ago from travelling all around the globe so we have alot of catching up to do. Marc is graduating in about 2 weeks so he have alot of school work to do and both me and Philip is studying math and chemistry to be more prepered for the autumn. So all 3 of us is studying together which is pretty nice.

Home, sweet home

Got home to Strömstad yesterday after 7h of travelling on 4 different trains with alot of bags. The garden looks beautiful right now and i think May is by far the nicest month in Sweden!

Spent the last evening in Norrköping with Fanny eating pizza, salad, candy and watching the semi final of the eurovision song contest...It's been raining the whole day and i feel like Norrköping is crying because i'm leaving...The bags are packed and tomorrow i will leave for good.

We had our last coffee together today. Abit sad to be honest. I will really miss the people i've gotten to know here. But in the same way i've gotten used to it while travelling. Still sad though.

Last project completed!

Electrolux Animal Rapido (designed my Malin)

School's over and i have only 2 days left in Norrköping. We had our last presantation today and it went great! We were trying to market our vacuum cleaner designed to remove animal hair. It was for the marketing course and i must say that i've really enjoyed it! We also got our exam results back and i did really well. To bad i'm going to quit.

Best time of the year

Yesterday me and Fanny ordered take-away and sat in the sun by the river the whole evening. Today me and Elsa had coffee for 2,5 h then i had coffee with some other girls for a couple of hours at my new favoutite café. We ended the day at a restaurant for drinks. God, I loooove May! Going home on Wednesday which will be good. Gonna work at Skagerack during the weekends before Marc's graduation and the move to Lycksele.

Games you can play in a car

One of our assignements right now is to make an illustration for a news paper about a summer sport or a summer activity. I choosed to illustrate 3 kids in the back of a car and tips to parents how to make the car journey to the vacation spot as pleasant as possible. I wrote 5 games wich will keep the kids occupied. It's not very complicated but illustrations in news paper not very often are.

We're done with our big project for this semester! We will on friday print 2000 12-pages pamphlets and 2000 4-pages Folders for our copany Världsbutiken. We got very good reviews from our teachers and our presentation today went very well. My frist experience as a project leader is over but i've learn alot from it!

I'm staying at Emmy's nice appartement this weekend as her boyfriend is out of town. We had a dinner party last night where everyone brought some food they made. Me and emmy made Solmon canapés and bought chocolate and the thers had made meatballs, bulgur salad, potato salad, feta cheese salad and chocolate cake - everything right up my alley!

Bye bye appartement

My dad's been visiting me for 2 days packing and cleaning out the appartement. We had to pile everything in a corner for the movers to come next week. Everything will get transported to Lycksele and the new appartement there. Can't wait to live with Chris this summer!

Last night alone for a looooong time

My dad is coming tomorrow night to help me pack and bring some of my stuff back to Strömstad. Then I'm going to stay at friends places here until school's end and i can go back to strömstad and then to Lycksele. Last night alone for a while!

Better get movin'

I've been extremely bored this weekend. I finished all the assignements for this semester on friday afternoon. So what to do in a 26 square metres appartement. Did i mentioned that it rained? Well i started packing. The walls are empty now so it's even less fun to spend time here. I did have fun last night though. Me, Fanny, Emmy and Helen went to some guy's 30's birthday party. Felt good to be one of the youngest again.

Flowers and projects

Me and Fanny took a 1,5h walk yesterday. Norrköping isn't that big when you get down to it. Felt like we were walking in cirkels. It's nice though with all the flowers popping up everywhere.
It's not so sunny today which is pretty good for me. I hate to sit inside studying when the sun is shining and all of our projects right now has to be done inside as it requires a computer.The project of today is to photoshop myself next to Martin Luther King. Not too bad of a project!

My spanish window

There's good and bad things about having the windows facing the sun in the morning. I'm waking up at 7am everyday even on the weekends, it gets super hot in the middle of the day but the best of thing of all; i can sunbath in my window! Having coffee and breakfast in a bekini and it feels like i'm in Spain! Just an hour though then it gets to hot...

And then it's weekend again...

...or at least i don't have to go to school more this week. Honestly i'm not siked about it because it's not to fun spending days on my own in a tiny apartement. There's some school work which need to be done but it's surprisingly little consider there's only a couple of weeks left. Who sad uni have to be hard?!

New favourite!

Just as i'm about to leave this place we found a new café: the old man's garden. It's a huge garden with old fashioned-style tables, chairs, table clothes, flowers etc. Perfect on a sunny sunday.

Finally!

For the first time this year it was warm enough to bring a blanket and some magazines out to lay on the grass in the sun. Priceless!

Quite fun night out yesterday. Emma got to go out at a student nightclub. Cheap bear, nice people but pretty bad music or at lest difficult to dance to. I feel like it's the same every time i go out here. What ever happened to some good old dance-friendly R'nB?

3 weeks left...

There's only 3 weeks left in school and i feel like i have everything under control and even our project seems go go as we planned. We will print the brochures and pamphlets in about a week and it's just some text editing which need to be done. This is the front page...
