I got a 5/5 on my business exam! Not that it matters that much but it's always nice getting a good result on something you worked (more or less) hard for. So now i'm just realxing in the window (!) and eating some of Chris candy i found =).
I've been studying chemistry too but it's more for me then a have-to. I just want to fresh up my high school knowledge on the subject so i will be more prepared for the autumn.

I've been talking a long walk in Pauträsk today. Then i was just sitting in the sun with a cup of coffee, my sunglasses (and the chemistry book). That's one of the small things which can make me so happy sometimes.

I have my easter break now for a week and then i have another week off as i passed all my exams last year (which others have to take that week). I'm going to spend this whole time in Norrland with Chris. We went snowboarding yesterday and it was absolutely amazing! The conditions were just perfect as it had been snowing the whole night. The sun was shining on us and there were almost no people around. We went to Tärnaby, a skiresort 2h drive for Chris place. This is were one of Swedens best sports men ever started his career. Ingemar Stenmarck has 86 world cup victories in slalom and is from Tärnaby which is a city of only 533 inhabitants. Pretty cool!

Eating at a fantastic Italian place

As i was going to Stockholm to catch the flight to Lycksele i decided to spend two extra days visiting Emma and do some shopping. Even though Emma was working both days we had great evenings together and ate some really good food. I also got alot of shopping done which always is good excpet for the wallet.

We got 7 expressions to illustrate with a photo. These are mine and Fanny's. It's not a good resolution but the teacher wanted only 150 kB á picture which really is nothing. Notice our knowledge photo; it's those little post-it's i used for teaching Chris swedish.

We have a photo assignement to be done by tomorrow and me and Fanny went messing around with the cameras earlier today. These photos is just us being silly, i'll post the real ones tomorrow after editing.

What's the deal with Apple?

I think our teachers all work for Apple. They constantly make examples where they compare how good Apple is to other companies. The teacher we had today mentioned Apple about 50 times and he was just talking about marketing (for 4 hours though). I love my mac but I'm almost starting to feel like it's a little bit too big deal here. Honestly i really think they all are working for Apple. And it workes because alot of my classmates are switching even though they just bought a new PC and the ones which still have one is feeling very left out...weird, right??!

Staying home night

All the young kids were out clubbing last night as a couple of us other had a very nice dinner together. No alcohol - just food, popcorn and candy. I had made Salmon with pesto, bulgur and a sallad. Think they all liked it. We were supposed to watch a movie but, as always, just ended up chatting for about 7h.

I think we reached the point were winter is in the past and spring is finally on. There's still snow outside but the sun is shining and it's warmer the it has been for along time. And a new season needs new clothes. I bought a couple of items today but saving most of it to next week when i'm gonna visit Emma in Stockholm.

I can't understand how people wont bother at all about the fact that we're slowly destroying the environment. I think the problem is that no one thinks their action effects at all as they're only one person. But it does. Just a small thing like walking or biking instead of using the car is doing something. I think every city in Sweden (more or less) is equipped with recycling storage rooms or stations, so why not use them?!

The exam went really well! It always feels good afterwards knowing that all the work you put in studying payed off. I was supposed to meet up with the girls tonight for a couple of celebrating-the-exam-is-over-drinks. But after training i bought some candy on the way back home and i'm now going to cuddle up in bed with tea, chocolate and a new episode of DH!

A nice day after all

I have my exam tomorrow and me and Fanny have been studying together from 9am to 10pm yesterday and the whole day today. It's been fun though, i think we have fun whatever we do. We also managed to take a walk in the sun and stop at a café.
I've been training too, after exercising my brain all day i needed to give my body something aswell. I'm so tired now, ready for bed and the exam tomorrow!

Poster

My groups poster

My project groups poster for the SEB bank is going to be handed in tomorrow allong with a report. I thought we were done with everything but apperently someone forgot alot of files in school and i'm the only one left in the city now so i have to go there to fix it. I wasn't ever that happy with our poster and is starting to fell extremely tired of "saving pigs".
Anyway i had a really nice Saturday night with the girls. Helen had made Taco pie and the rest of us brought snacks, dessert and vegetables.

Funny little incident

I got alot of free stuff from the pharmacy companies in Uppsala; creams, shampoos, candy and chewing gum. The chewing gum was for people who tries to quit smoking and contained nicotine. I didn't notice that and after i had a couple today i've been feeling extremely dizzy and very out of it. Couldn't see the connecion and continued chewing...
Well i'm off to Helene for some Tacos and snacks with a couple of girls. I hope i manage to walk straight there...

drugs or environment

My list of programs to study next autumn is basicly down to 2; pharmacy and environmental engineering. I've check out the pharmacy program and will probably be able to check out the other one in Umeå when i'm visiting Chris. Pharmacy is more chemestry, environmental engineering is more math. They are both going to be much harder then the program i'm studying now (which really is very realxing) and it's probably going to be easy to get job, at least as an engineer. One of the reasons i want to study the engineer program is that i'm much more intrested in "saving the environment" then making drugs to people. It's a hard choice and i have about a month left to decide.

I'm going to Uppsala tomorrow to visit my friend Johanna but mainly to check out the program i might apply to for the autumn. I want to talk to older students and get a little more knowledge about the program and courses. This is what i should have done last year. But you'll live you'll learn.

No motivation

As i've decided to quit my program by the summer all the subjects i'm studying now really isn't that important. In matter of fact it's not important at all. So i have some problems motivating myself for studying for the business administration exam next week as it won't matter if i fail or not.

Movies 2010

This is a couple of movies i've seen lately and my resumé is:
If you're Swedish you must see Darling - So sad and cute. A movie that is everything the Hollywood movies are not. You'll definitely remember this one.
See an education - it's beautiful, well made and will leave you with a strong will to study French, dress 60'ths and drink tea.
Alice in Wonderland - was just missing something. The actors were great, the way they made it was fantastic, the 3D was cool but still there was no feeling to it. It's absolutely worth seeing on cinema, not so much on a dvd.
Pixar's Up - cute and funny but nothing special. Amazing characters but a little bit too weird story. An old man who wants to transport his house to the paradise falls in south america...
And if you haven't seen Avatar you should. It's something of a kind. The story isn't amazing but the tecnic is.

Awsome weekend

Chris is visiting me right now over the weekend. I think it was about 7 weeks since we last saw each other. It's along time for a relationship and especially for Chris as he doesn't have anyone to hang out with on his free time in Pauträsk. Me on the other hand only realize how much i care for someone when i meet that person, i don't go around thinking about it to much. Anyway we have had a great weekend so far. Yesterday we watched Alice in wonderland and ate sushi and today we've been walking around outside in fantastic weather. I think we're gonna go out to eat tapas tonigth and maybe rent a movie. I think i need to study alot tomorrow but lets just forget about that now.

2 interviews!

Lappland

I just send my CV to a couple of places in Lycksele for work during this summer and i have already got replies from two places who wants to meet me for an interview around easter. They were number 1 and 2 on my list of places i want to work at in Lycksele which is pretty cool. One is a huge hotel, i'm acctually surprised it's located in a small city like Lycksele, and the other one is in a park with lots of tourist attractions like canoeing. I've applied as a waitress as that's where my experience is but i would love to try soemthing new like being in the reception. Anyway i'm pretty glad for these two!

Alice in wonderland!

Can't wait to see this movie in a couple of days! I like fantasy, i like the book, i like the director and i like Johnny Depp. I don't like Disney but that's another story...

Tired of snow? yes...

What a day...Me, Malin, Madde and Karin took the 40min bustrip to Linköping. Then we had to walk 40 min to a printing office and then walk/run 40 min back to catch the bus. It would have been nice in the summer with sunshine and warm air. Not so much in snow storm and negative degrees. Especially not when you're on the way to recover after being sick.
